Lightbreaker

Throughout the past couple of months I’ve been experimenting quite a bit and changing my approach to illustration frequently. It’s been a fun ride (for the most part) but I’ve reached the point where I feel like I’m just spinning my wheels in the mud and not doing any good portfolio work.
So, following the advice of an NPC, I’ve decided to keep my feet on the ground so to speak and go back to a very basic and straightforward way of painting that’ll allow me to achieve the best results without using too many dreaded digital-art shortcuts. Simple chunky line-art, followed by under-paint and overpaint should yield results that I’m happy with. And I’m very satisfied with the first piece of the new “reborn” series.
I’m looking forward to making more of these and I’m very happy with the art that’s queued up!
